Step 1
Contact us for a free consultation. We can meet, preferably in person, or over the phone. We'll talk about the specific details about your event, your colors, what you envision, quantities, etc. and get an idea of what you're looking for.
Step 2
We'll send you a computer proof in PDF format of about 3 design ideas based on what we discussed. Any changes you have will be made in this stage. Computer proofs are a $100 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied towards the cost of your order.
Next is the paper proof which is an optional step. You may decide that you don't need a paper sample of your invitation. Or you may be pressed for time and willing to go ahead with production. If you decide to see a paper proof, an additional $100 non-refundable deposit is required.
Step 3
After you have seen your paper proof and have paid the balance due, we will produce your custom invitations!
How long will it take?
A lot depends on how quickly we hear from you during the computer proof stage. Once we have your final approval on a design, we can turn around a couple hundred invitations (depending on complexity) in about 3-4 weeks. Rush jobs are accepted at 20% over the regular cost. Contact us for more specific details on your order.
Please note: We cannot produce computer or paper proofs without their respective deposits. We will not begin production on your order until the balance has been paid.
How much will it cost?
Usually about $600 - $800 per 100 invitations including response card and outer envelope. But it depends on how many you need, the complexity of your selected design, and if you would like to add a la carte items like maps, thank you notes, programs, place cards, etc. Contact us and we can give you a more detailed quote based on our consultation.
Minimum order: 20
Beautifully Handmade recommends asking your postmaster to hand-cancel these cards for mailing.
Because of the handmade nature of these invitations, small variations are normal. We like to think each one is unique.
